Since 2012, PETGENO has combined original animal genetic research with DNA testing for companion cats and dogs. Our analysis demonstrates that sustainable wellness arises from integrating clinical research with individualized care, thereby enabling clients to implement precise strategies that optimize long-term outcomes.
We were the first to commercialize genetic tests for feline silver and red coat-color genes, and the first to offer testing for eight Dominant Blue Eyes (DBE) variants, translating scientific advances into practical tools for breeders and pet owners.
As an Institutional Member of the International Society for Animal Genetics (ISAG), we help breeders, veterinarians and pet owners understand inherited health risks and physical traits, supporting responsible breeding and informed care throughout life. We continue to investigate the genetics of pet health and traits, turning new discoveries into better tools for breeding and care.
Our Hong Kong laboratory, the PETGENO International Genetics Center is now open and accepting samples for international testing orders. Overseas customers can ship their samples directly to our Hong Kong center.
